CO.N.I.P. contribution must be applied by all producers at “first disposal”, i.e. at the first sale of the packaging to a user or a non-member of the Consortium.
Among Consortium member, the contribution must be applied by the lost member who releases the packaging on the national market.
For imports, “first disposal” is the first entry of the packaging on the national market.
If, at the end of a cycle of use, packaging is readmitted on the national market retreatment/reconditioning, the CO.N.I.P. contribution must be paid again.
Exported crates and pallets are exempt from CO.N.I.P. contribution. For more information consult the attached “import-export” document.
The producer communicates the weight of plastic crates and pallets released on the national market every three months.
At the moment the CO.N.I.P. contribution for crates and pallets released on the national market is 0.04 €/Kg
